MH and PC times (how long) maybe lamp change?

I bought the outer orbit MH/PC system (150W + 2x96W actinics)
and right now I have the actinics turned on at 12pm thru 10pm and MH turn on at 2pm-8pm, does this look right? I think I may be changing the actinics to 50/50 bulbs because those 4 extra hours with the actinics on only looks wierd. I also plan on changing the MH bulb to a 14k hamilton or phoenix would this work as well? TIA

everything looks good, that is about what most ppl have their lighting setup on for but the attanics on only for about 1 hour before and after the MH's rather than 2. also alot of ppl like the looks of XM's 14k bulb so might also what to concider that one also. however it is still gonna be the way you see it and not others as you will be looking at it more. so what ever combo you like the most.

after doing a bit more research, i read somewhere on here that someone does this:

PC actinics:
9am-11am

MH:
11am-7pm

PC actinics:
7pm-11pm

is that okay also?

I have seen a lot of people do something like 8am-10pm for actinics and 9am to 9pm for MH. This is how I think I am going to set mine once my controller gets here. So you only have actinics alone from 8am-9am and 9pm-10pm. Then moonlights after 10pm.
