Algae eating fish?
Since my puffer eats snails I was wondering what kind of cleaner fish I could get to repalce them? Also I would like to get more than 1 cleaner fish if possible to mix them. Thanks!

Is this in a 55? What kind of pufferfish it is will also help determine what tankmates it could have.

Possibly, have you done a test with anything? I believe some people do keep snails with their puffers, just need replacements a bit more often. I know my coris wrasse will leave the slower moving snails alone. I added a couple of astrea, then some nassarius, then some mexican turbos. Just a few at a time to see how he would react. I haven't tried any hermits, but you could. As for algae eating fish in a 55, have you looked into maybe a lawnmower blenny?

not yet but i will today..
He ate all of my 4 small snails that were quite fast.. I am not sure their names.. I have recently added 60 more pounds of LR to the tank so that should help in hiding a bit better.. |
