Lunar Wrasse Experiences
I am looking for a centerpiece fish for my 55 gallon and came across the Lunar Wrasse. I love the coloring on them and think its an awesome looking fish. Does anybody have any advice/info/experiences with these fish they can share? If not this guy, what would be an awesome centerpiece fish for my tank?

uh dont do it unless you have other big agressive fish only. These are extremely agressive and arent reef safe not to mention they will outgrow your tank. they are really fun to watch though.

They have the potential to be violent and beligerant. They also have a predeliction for flipping over corals and frags.

I have seen them eat adult firefish whole, pluck the eyes out of larger fish, eat any inverts greedily, as well as knock over sizable pieces of rock.

Well, if you like colorful wrasses, a Solarensis Fairy Wrasse is nice..."reef safe" also. Here is a pic of mine:

Are most fairy wrasses typically ok in a 55? I'm interested in one for mine, but I'm concerned that a 55 isn't big enough.

Sure, a 55-gallon tank is fine for just about any Fairy Wrasse.

You can also look into getting a few flasher wrasses. They are very cool to watch.
