Feather duster type creature
Ok I just added 30 lbs of Fiji/Hati LR to my tank on Thursday of last week. Of course being a noob, I have spent some time looking into the tank.
I have already found 2 Aptasia, that I have treated with Joe's Juice. Worked INSTANTLY. I have found 4 featherdusters/tube worms. But I have also found a small patch maybe the size of a nickle that has 6-7 small coraline covered protrusions, these have just in the last 24 hrs come alive. They have 6-8 brownish colered fingers surrounding a white middle, also the fingers have neon green tips. I will try and post a pic later after I figure that part out. LOL Any ideas what this could be? What about Reef Safe? Thanks for your help. Greg |

Looks like a growth of star polyps growing. If so its just a coral which is harmless but will grow like crazy.

Thanks for the info. It's amazing how much my tank is springing to life while just cycling. After already seeing the Aptasia, I just wanted to make sure I was staying ontop of any promlems that may sprout!
