can this acrylic stand/sump support a glass tank? pic included

My current 75 gallon acrylic is old and scratched. I've refinished it twice but I am still not getting that crytal clear look. I want to go glass and upgrade to a 90 but I'm not sure if my stand will support the weight. That is really the only issue. It is made of (what appears to be) two sheets of acrylic. I bought it used with the tank so I'm not sure about its construction. The wood frame is completely for aesthetic purposes. I wanted to dress it up a bit. Does this stand look strong enough? It does have to center braces for support but I know going to a 90 glass will be double the weight.

I can't say for sure, but I would be a bit wary of putting a heavier tank on that stand. There just doesn't seem to be much bottom support. It is a nice piece, though.

By the way, gorgeous tank.

Would the 90g be the same length, just deeper from front to back? I don't see room to expand lengthwise.

the entire stand is acrylic. The baffles are aout 3/4" think. The sides are about 1/2" thick and I'm not sure about the base. Perhaps there is something I could do for reinforcement?

Perhaps a new acrylic would be a better option.
