feather-like invertebrate identification help

I'm curious if anyone can identify the invertebrate beside my star polyps.

This is the top view

and this is a side view:

I'm pretty sure that it is not "baby star polyps" because the creature is not on the purple stolon.

As a newbie, I had issues figuring out how to include images.

Is there a way to include the image directly in the post or was uploading them to My Gallery the right choice?

Cheers!

Definately not feather dusters. I agree with paintbug, clove polyps. If you want them to survive, make sure your GSP doesn't overgrow them.

DOH!

Sorry about the extra http:\\.

I don't think the GSP's will overgrow them because the GSP has been receding a bit. I have no clue why because the water quality is good and other stuff (e.g. Xenia) is thriving.

Clove polyps (Clavularia sp.) looks like a good guess though. They do have 8 sections.

There doesn't appear to be a mat (stolon?) connecting the polyps and I've got them ALL over my rocks (singles and clusters).

Thanks!
