miracle mud
my tank is about 6 months old. I recently added chaeto to the sump. I am wanting to add miracle mud to this portion of my sump as well. can I add this to an established tank or will there be too much of a cycle. I am trying to have the most functional refugium I can in the small space I allotted. Thanks for the help

I have never had a cycle start from adding miracle mud. I just added some to a new ref. recently and there was no ammonia or nitrite spike.

Just cut the flow and let the mud settle. I don't think it will hurt anything, but it takes longer to clean up if you don't let it settle.
