I'm not quite familiar with that unit, but some key things to remember when choosing an RO/DI unit for aquarium use:

1. Make sure and get a genuine DOW FilmTec membrane. These are the best performing membranes available. Some sellers make other claims, but are flat out lying. Some also sell cheap knock-offs of it and some just use the DOW material.

2. Full size vertical DI canisters. Hollow horizontal DI tubes are not as affective even when mounted vertically and/or packed tightly with resin.

3. Customer service.

You will also want to get a TDS meter with any unit you buy (about $25). This is the only way to tell if your unit is functioning properly and also when to replace the membrane or DI. Another thing to remember is you need to replace the pre-filters every 6 months regardless of usage, they can harbor bacteria and viruses (even more important if you're using it for drinking water too). There are plenty of units close to $200 (which looks to be in your price range) that include all the aforementioned and also other nice features such as a pressure gauge, fast flush, DI bypass, etc.

eee
