some pics of lr, few need id please
just got this at a local store, great live rock with tons of feather dusters, and a few things i don't recognize
bristtle worm or whatever? nice feather duster with another worm next to it now for the ones i don't know don't know if it's hard or soft, it appears soft, and i seen another one on the same rock anenome, soft coral, i got at least half a dozen they all look the same, but some seem to "bloom" or let loose the tentacals at night. i only have a single flouresecnt bulb, soon to upgrade, but how long will these things last with my lighting? |

first unkown looks like a 'shroom to me, but the other is a little blurry to be sure.
The mushroom will last a while, but not flourish. The other, if it is an anemone, will only last while you target feed it. Even then it'll very likely die. Again, if it is an anemone.

None of those are aiptasia.
The pics are really blurry so I'll do the best I can. 1. Bristleworm (good guy) 2. Bristleworm again 3. Shroom - an easy coral - should be fine 4. This one, I can't really tell. Any chance for a better picture? Crystal

the last pic is a Ball Anemone aka Ball Corallimorph (Pseudocorynactis sp.) these are not actually anemones, but in the mushroom family. they will spred quickly like aiptasia, most consider them pest. i have a few on a peice of LR. i leave 5-6 on there for the cool factor, the rest get a shot of joes juice.
heres alittle info on them at the bottom http://www.advancedaquarist.com/issu...002/invert.htm
