Question Vacuming sand

My LS and LR have debree on them. I use a turkey baster to blast the LR but what about the LS. What do you use to cleanup the LS?

I use a siphon type vacuum to clean the surface of my sand when needed. How big is your clean up crew?

you should get more sand sifting inverts to help clean the sand.

depending on how deep your sandbed is. if it is for aesthetics then vacuum the whole thing thoroughly but if you have a deep sandbed then just vacuum the debris you can see and leave the sandbed alone this way you dont disturb the beneficial creatures that live in the sandbed.

i haven't vacuumed my sand in 2 years and it stays white...you need something to stir it up - nassarius snails, sand sifting starfish, or a conch.
