Marineland White Diamond Ammonia Remover
Every place that I see that sells this stuff or has info about it warns not to use it in saltwater...freshwater ONLY. An LFS in my town SWEARS to me that it is safe for all salt tanks?! I tried telling him not to use it on his tanks any more but he told me I was wrong.
So whats the truth? Why cant it be used on saltwater? PS this LFS CONSTANTLY tells be things that I think are sooo stupid. He told me that NO ASM skimmer comes with a Sedra pump....he tells me he uses Rio Hyperflow 20's on the G3's and he doesnt even know what a needle wheel is?!!!?! |

i'd say i'd not list it as safe as its converting sodium /aka salt to a not exactly desired element. As much as people worry about salinity changes..
