Sump on a sump?

Ok guys what i was thinking was adding a 30 gal tank under my sump that i would use for water changes planning on drilling an overflow in my return section and have it drain to the 30 gal kinda like a sump on my sump and have a return pump in the 30 gal that is hardpiped to the return in my sump and to a drain. boosting my total volume to 160 gal this way i can isolate the 30gal drain it refill mix and when it is back to temp and ph put it back in the system would give me the equilivent of a 30 gal change on a 160 gal system. so what do you guys think see any problems with this?
