How to install a retrofit kit

I just got this retrofit kit http://www.reefgeek.com/products/cat...ng/104068.html . But my canopy im using has two glass panels on the top of the canopy for easy feeding and what not. So there's no roof to install it. Has anyone figured out a way to install it in this style canopy. Im thinking about just getting some thin ply wood to where the end caps go.

The DIY forum might be a good place to check. A picture of your canopy, or a diagram, might help as well.
