Which Typhoon 3 ?

I am about to buy a Thyphoon 3 because i had enough with carrying water from my LFS and up to my apartment so i just wanted to know which model is more appropriate for a 55G the 75 GPD or the 100 GPD ??

Should i also buy any of the extra accesories like the float walve etc etc...

Thank you!

I would recommend the 75GPD based on its higher filter rate of the membrane. The 75GPD is about 99% where the 100GPD is about 95%. I have the 75GPD for my 180G and it works great. You just plan ahead a bit with water making. Make sure to mention Reef Central and you'll get a TDS meter or some other discount of about ~$15. Enjoy! ~Matt

I originally bought a 100gpd unit, and when I replaced the membrane a few months ago, airwaterice recommended the 75 gpd membrane for the reasons mcegelsk mentioned.
