help! new flourescent is flickering
I just got my new fixture through aqua universe. It's a 2 x 250W HQI (13K) and 2 x 110W VHO actinic. One of the VHOs are flickering. It was connected to a power strip, so I figured maybe it wasn't getting enough juice, so I plugged it in to the wall... Same thing. WHAT DO I DO, is it defective?

let it be
some ballast / bulb combos flicker for like 10 minutes befor the first startup what type of ballast does it use? |

Contact the people you got it from and let them know what it is doing. I'd suggest returning it for a new one.

one of my vho bulbs did that.
didn't have it tightned enough into the endcap. fixed it right away.
