euroreef cs80 - 2 quick questions
i just recieved my euroreef cs80 and i have a couple questions:
first off, the collection cup's lid has 6 marks for vent holes, although only 5 of them are fully drilled out. is this just a factory mistake or is the 6th vent hole intentionally not drilled out completely? also, i bought this skimmer off marine depot, and in the discription for the skimmer it said it came with the dolphin pump. i know euroreef now uses sedra but i just wanted to make sure i didn't get like an overstock older model with a dolphin pump, so how can i be sure its not a dolphin pump?

I have the RS-100 skimmer. It came with the sedra pump. I am not sure of the pump that will come with your model. I would go to there web site and inquire. Be sure to fill out all the warranty paperwork and send it in, I have to provide the pump serial number and the skimmer serial number on the paperwork I had to return. My cup has 6 holes and all are drilled out very nicely. Sounds like the drill didn't drill one hole. I doubt that it will cause any harm and personally I would not worry about that. I can't answer about the pump, I am not sure.
Regards, Pat
