Help a lighting newbie

Greetings everyone,

I have had a 125 gallon saltwater tank going for about 5 years overall now and I want to take it to the next level with some anemones and possibly corals in the future.

Right now, I have the standard two bulb florescent light system that came with the tank. To get strong enough lighting to accomplish my goal, I am guessing I need a hood? What are my options?

I was told that they do not produce a production hood for my tank so I would have to have one custom built. Any ideas where to look for this? Also, are there any lighting options I am overlooking?

Any help on this subject would be appreciated. The tank I have currently has one divider in the center if that helps.

I made my own pendant Hood setup. I am really happy with it. the one thing about DYI is you can make it any way you want to suit your needs. Its not that hard and with a little though and a bunch of posts it is certainly Possible. best of luck.
