metal halide lights

I'm looking into DIYing a metal halide lighting setup for my tank.

I found these plans that I'll probably follow pretty closly:

For a 6' 125 gallon tank, how much lighting would I need/want? Would two of these setups be enough?

mh's will light about 2 feet per bulb. I would definalty go with 3 250's for a 6 foot tank. And I would stay away from 6500k bulbs, great par but too yellow IMO. Good luck!
