tank is 75 gallon

2 X 175 watt 10K reeflux on standard M57 magnetic ballast
supplemented with 2 X 110 watt VHO's ( 1 super actinic and 1 actinic white ) and 2 55 watt actinic 03 power compacts.

All bulbs are 5 months old

excellent, both are nice looking tanks.

Sunny, those 10k XMs are looking good. What is it like w/out the actinic supplimentation?

I would never run it without supplements, too white and dull. You really need some Actinic to balance it out and make the colors "pop".
For the PAR these bulbs put out they cant be beat.

I was thinking about running 2x250 10k XMs (on icecaps) w/ a single 96w PC Actinic (tank is 36"), would the PC be overpowered?

Ti, yes its been out a while now. The 50k bulb is beautifull, the color is like a mix of 20K plus 10K

Ti,

sanjay has some stuff on the 150w 50ks by Iwasaki, on an M81 he gets 41 PPFD.
