Euro Reef impeller's

My ER skimmer quit working today and when I took the pump apart, I found the shaft was in 3 pieces. Does anyone know if the impeller assembly from ASM is the same as the ER. I know the pump is the same (Sedra 5000) just not sure if ER modifies the assembly to stop somebody from switching parts. The assembly is $100 from ER and $50 from ASM. Just trying to save some money.

If you have the older ER using Sedras, then...yes, I believe the impellor assembly is the same for ER and ASM.
