Rio SEIO on wavemaker?

Can the Rio SEIO super flow pump be used on a wavemaker. I didn't see anywhere on the directions that say you can't but I want to make sure.

Taam says not to use them on a wavemaker. This is probably because the SEIO locks up more often on restart than a Microsoft operating system. Taam will be releasing a wavemaker/controller for the SEIO sometime soon.

Agree on that, they also seem to break shafts if you do put them on a wavermaker. Seems like they are taking their time getting this controller out....

I also agree with the frequent (or constant) lockups on the 1100. Once it's running, it's great though. I've only had it restart correctly once since the 4-mths I've had it. You need to tap it a few times to start the motor again.

Can't wait for SEIO's new controller to be available.

Mine have never locked up on me in the year I owned them.

Theres a poll that happened a couple of days ago. 80%+ of people had never had any problems.

I have 3 620's on a wavemaker (6 months on the Red Sea one, the past 12 months on the wavemaker part of my ReefKeeper I ) I have never once had a restart issue, nor any broken shafts. I do clean them every 3-4 months.
