I feed bits of sea veggies and a dry veggie flake along with the carnivore flake for the meat eaters. While he will take all of the above, mostly he eats off the glass and rocks though.

Mine eats anything (brine, flakes, etc..) including Nori, I guess I am lucky!! I have heard of some people that cannot get their lawnmower blennie to eat anything.

J_Beau - sorry about your loss!!!

After all the algae was gone in my tank, my Blenny got very thin because he wouldn't eat anything else and I was afraid I was going to lose him. After trying many things, what finally got him to eat prepared food was the Algae wafers made my Hikari for plecostomus and algae eaters. Once he accepted those, then he started eating everything and the fat Blenny tummy was back.

It is hilarious to watch him take on the Tang and Coral Beauty to try and steal the algae wafer. He grabs the whole thing in his big mouth and tries to swim away with it.

Good Luck! Some of them are very reluctant to eat prepared food and you just have to keep trying till something clicks.

Mine eats everything and I do mean everything I put in the tank. The only thing he doesn't eat is the one thing he was hired to take care of
