Octopus Coral issues

I just go a nice piece of Octopus coral(Frogspawn?) from the LFS. I've been watching it for 4 weeks and it has always looked good so I picked it up. Its been in my tank for 1 day. It hasn't fully expanded yet but doesn't have any slime coming out of it and doesn't look stressed. But, I just found a small piece of it floating around the tank. It was inflated like a ballon. Is this normal? I water is all zeros and I do 20% water change every week. I have a MH light and a bakpak Filter. I also have a blue leg hermit, a prawn goby and a small piece of moon coral on the other side of the tank. Thanks for any help.

Frogspawn is not a high flow coral..
They like light to med flow, and med lighting..

If pieces are being torn off and floating around, move it to a less flow zone

Just enough flow to let the arms toss slightly. Don't know what may happen to the bits: had a rabbit bite one off. Been trying to catch it since, in the notion of supergluing to a rock and hoping it would lay down a little calcium...
