y is all my coraline green?

i only get green stuff calcifying on my glass, and only little spots of purple on some rocks.. why do i get more green than purple?

i am experiencing the same thing... i'm assuming it will be taken over by purple eventually. anyone know???

Over time the green will be overtaken by the purple or red in most cases.

I believe you have to seed purple coraline if you want it in there, I guess it depends on where the rock came from, as the LALO rock I got has mainly lots of green that glows in the actinics. Rocks from other locals may have other colors

My coraline was green under PCs. Purple really took off when i switched to MH.

once i started testing the magnesium, and keeping it up, as well as the calc, and alk thats when the green started growing, then maybe 1-2 months later purple and pink spots started. i would say since i first started seeing coralline on the glass its been about 3-4 months and my back glass, and one side is about 50% covered, the other 2 sides i scrape clean. the rocks are about 80% covered on the sides that see the light.
