I need some help with my Toadstool Leather
I was siphoning the tank the other day for a water change and I was distracted briefly. Unfortunately, I briefly touched my beautiful toadstool leather. Since then I've reef dipped it twice and brushed reef dip on the area that was suctioned. It has some area's where white spots are on it and other area's that are just pealing. What can/should I do to try to help it come back out. It was growing like crazy before and now it isn't shrinking but isn't coming out either. I have it in a high flow area to assist in the pealing of the layer that's coming off but I really don't know if I'm doing the right thing or not.
Thanks, Brian ![]() ![]()

Time will heal it. I had a yellow tonga fall upside down while I was away on a business trip. I came home to part of it just melting. I pulled the dead tissue off and just set it back where it belonged. It recovered and is doing well.

Wow! Ok that's good to know. I'll have to be more careful in the future.
Thanks for the quick replies! Brian

I have accidently sucked some polyps off both my frogspawn and my branching hammer... That took a little longer to heal...
