aqua remora ?

im running this skimmer in my 75g, i seen a post where someone had very little liquid in the bottom & big bubbles @ the top, they said to raise the cup up a little, mines doing the samething, could someone let me know a little more on this, also when the cups all the way down its sitting at a slant, i think its resting on that white screw down in there. do i need to do something to fix it or thats how it is?

What pump ae you running it with? Have you cleaned the injector and pump recently? I can't keep my cup anywhere near that low and not have it overflowing with watery skimmate.

My Remora cup is set nearly as low as it'll go and I get about 1" of nasty dark green liquid daily, and a lot of dark green scum covering inside the cup and riser tube and cover. It's been set up for about 7-8 weeks now.

To keep the skimmer working well it's important to use the brush and clean the injector (where the screw is) once every week or two and clean the pump when it starts to clog, I usually clean the MJ on mine every couple of months. You don't have to take the skimmer off the back of the tank to do either.

I returned your PM teena. You have to take the powerhead apart to clean it (it's not hard )...a toothbrush works well once you have it apart. I sent a link to the brush that comes with the skimmer as well as a link to the instruction manual.
Also Jason at Aqua C is excellent when it comes to customer service...even on products bought used.
