I just found my emerald crabs facing each other on top of one another and they looked like they were mating. Has anyone had this happen in their tank? What happens next?

Umm ... did you really ask what happens next when two crabs mate?
![]() Anyway, it's possible that that was simply foreplay, and nothing good will come out of it. ![]() |

I've seen my two emerald crabs do the same thing, shortly after lights out one night. Haven't seen any babies, I'm guessing they're probably real difficult to breed. Seems like anything you'd like to breed is too hard, and anything you don't want to breed (zoa-eating nudibranchs) breed much too easily.
