Quietest Pump?
Hi,
I'm looking for a replacement pump for my closed loop. Specificly I want something that is as quiet as possible. I would like 1" outputs, high flow (1200gph min), very quiet. It's for a closed loop so head pressure is very low so it doesn't have to be a pressure rated pump. Power requirements and price are important as well. I'm looking at the QuiteOne 6000 and Velocity T4 (Blueline) Any other suggestions? Thanks Jon |

Velocity is as quiet as they come, but will add heat to the system. Quiet one's seem to have a very variable record with some saying the name is an oxymoron, other's saying they are ok.
If you can go much higher flow rates you can look at the smallest sequence uno pump. Very quiet, very high flow rates, 1" plumbing. For those with a less stringent budget, a red dragon pump, the smaller ones will work. Very, very quiet, very, very energy effecient, little to no heat transfer, but very, very expensive.
