I have a 150g with 12 fishes in it. I am using a G3 and it work pretty good for me and it fits into my sump and cabinet perfectly. I don't know how much taller the G4 is.

G4X for a 180. G3x is great, but it maxes out at 100 gallons IMO (its what I use on my 100g)

Whats the difference between the g4 plus and the g4x? Is it only the size-the g4x is 30in tall vs 24
