Can green star polyps grow on the stalk of a leather?
I want to frag my toadstool, but I don't know if my GSP, which are close to where I want to place the frag, could potentially grow over the frag thus killing the frag. Can GSP grow over any soft corals in general?

Yes, I pull off GSP from toadstool and finger leathers all the time. They grow right up the base.

Yes, they can easily grow over the base of a nearby soft coral.
I have had them climb up the little stalks of zoanthids.
