qt ??

is it ok to have shrimp in QT do shrimp get sick just thinking it would eat any ich or clean the fish
( I dont use copper)

I wouldn't think that it would be a problem as long as you don't use copper or any non-invert safe chemical. And like you were saying, the shrimp could help combat Ich and other parasites in the qt.

If you don't medicate the tank or do hyposalinity, the shrimp would probably be fine, but I suppose the fish could carry some shrimp disease. I wouldn't do it, in the end, I guess.

I use melafix and pimafix by aquarium pharmaceuticals totaly reef asfe but I'm not puttin it in my reef just qt
