it closes up and shrinks down to nothing if you go by it, do not think its a feather duster.

Yeah, looks like a tubeworm to me. The base looks to rigid to be aptasia. Besides, that's far too convenient a location for aptasia. In my tank, aptasia likes to spring up on the underside of a rock in the back of my tank between my two favorite and most fragile corals, so it's next to impossible to get to it.

I don't know what it is, but I don't think it is a feather duster or aiptasia.... If I had to lean to one or the other I would say aiptasia, but it just doesn't quite look like one to me.
