How's this Refugium?

How is this design?

Just curious cause it would be easy 4 me to get 2 20 gallons and drill em

will have to scroll down to near the bottom to see what they did

I'd just use one as a refugium, and have that overflow into the 20g for the sump. You'd only have to drill one tank, and you wouldn't have that awkward, weak connection.

That design is fine.

Come down to Sac, go to a shop called Paradise aquarium. Ask for Kevin ad say that Jim told you to call. They will either build you what you want for cheap, or sell you a 50-55 gallon and you can do it yourself. Just get some baffles cut, silicone them in, and your golden.



I bought this 50 gallon from them, siliconed in 1 baffle that I had cut ($8) and I run my skimmer externally. Works great.

I can get a used aqua C eV150 skimmer for $150.

How is that, good price, good skimmer?
