Saio 1100 in 25g tank for flow?

Right now I have 2 AquaClear 30 powerheads in my tank 175gph flow rate and I am not sure if that is enough flow for my tank I am just starting out and I'm keeping a mixed reef eventually I will add 2-3 fish. My question is If I just keep one of my powerheads in and add a Saito 1100 in the middle pointing to the front of the tank would that be too much flow or would it push the water against the front wall and distribute it nicely around the tank?

Thank you ,
Dave

I don't think your fish would be able to swim in that tank!

I have an 820 in a 29g high tank alone with a Mag 7 for return, and it's a nice gentle flow. I would imagine a Seio 1100 would be a little more, but still fine.

I'm not sure about the other powerhead...

Too much flow if you have sand, IMO.

ohhh yeah I forgot I do have sand , I guess it would look like a sandstorm in there all the time. I guess I could go with a saio 620 or an 820

Too much flow. It will likely throw water out of the tank if mounted as you describe. A 620 or 820 would work better, IMO.

I would go with the 620 for your set up

I've had an 1100 and a 1500 in a 29g with sand. The 1500 does lift sand up, no matter where it is placed. The 1100 I run along the rear back side of the tank, and it then comes forward along a side and out to the front. The 4 anenomes and clowns all seem to love the flow along with the assorted softies.
I would suggest a couple of 820's pointing forward diagonally.

I wouldn't recommend it. I have 2 820s in my 20L and I think it would be better of with multiple maxijets on a wavetimer. I had an 1100 in the tank for about 5 minutes but it was too big and pushed WAY too much water around.
