What size sump for a 210?

I need a sump for a 210 gallon tank. The thing is I don't know what size would be needed and I don't know if it would be in my best interest to make one or buy one. The sumps I have been looking at cost around $500. This seems a little ridiculous for some acrylic, but I don't know how to build one so I'm stuck. If anyone could point be in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated (any advice on how to build one would be phenomenal).

You could use a 75G aquarium and add some baffles.

It all depends on what you want out of your sump. I look at mine as bulk water and a place for filters. So I use a 100gall rubbermaid stock tank, costs about $60 at a local farming store. Inside this sits a large 15 gallon rubbermaid bucket. The over flow drains into the bucket, over it's edge and into the stock tank. The bucket is my cheap baffle system. That and a filter sock and I have no issues with bubbles getting to the return pump. This set up is on my 220

sjm817- The 75 gallon tank is what I have been thinking, but I wanted to do the wet/dry trickle filter and I don't know how to add that to a 75 gallon tank. If you have any advice on how to turn a 75 gallon into a wet/dry trickle filter it would be greatly appreciated. djsnyster- A 100 gallon rubbermaid tub would work if the tank was behind a wall, but I have to fit the equipment under the tank because it will be against a wall.

gkq325286- Do you have any type of biofiltration built into your tub? I am wondering how to set up a tank for SPS and the wet/dry is the only way I can think of doing that. Any experience you have would be greatly appreciated.

Wet dry trickle is old school and not really used any more. Typically a sump houses a protein skimmer, return pump, heaters and what not and a refugium.

Here is a GREAT place to learn about sumps

Oceanic model 3 (I think) 58 gal sump. Not good if you want a refugium also. I like the 75 sump room to add refugium and protein skimmer area.

Well the blueprint of the 210 will be 72 x 24 so there will be plenty of room. I am wondering how large of a sump to go with and whether it would be better to build in a refugium or to go with an external one. I know I want a refugium, but I have no idea how to set this whole thing up.
