Some help with ID - please
Sorry, I don't have a camera to post with, but this is what I need to know. I need two ID's if this is possible without the picture.
1. I have these little white things that look to me like little Pineapples. They look to me like the beginning of a small worm – (featherduster?) but they are perfect little pineapple shape with a feather looking top. And they are attached to the bottom of the rocks. Anybody seen anything like these before? 2. I have these perfect little white disks on some of the rocks. A few of them are turning yellow. They don’t seem to be doing anything, but I’m not sure. My water params: 80.0 degrees F 0.0 Amon 0.0 Trites 10 - 20 Trates The tank is right at 6 months old. Any help is greatly appreciated!!

first is probably a Scypha sponge
second is possibly spirorbid worms. Neither are harmful Check out Melevs reef site for more info and pics. Its not all inclusive so what you got might not be there but its easy and I believe both of the above are there. http://www.melevsreef.com/id/ top left starfish, worms, etc. bottom left is sponges and gorgonians
