Depends on if you get all males, you need to call them and specify 1male and 2 females or 3 females. If you get all males you'll end up with one or 2 males left.

1. what other fish are in the 90?
2. are you prepared to export the nutrients you will be adding with their multiple daily feedings? If so, then yes.(as long as tank isn't jam packed already) -jmo

sounds good...just skim heavy and keep up with both feedings and water changes
...and make sure not to get more than one male...and it's a good idea to get females that are smaller than the male - imo

I don't think you'll have any problem with 3 in a 90g tank. Lyretail females seem to be extremely laid back / peaceful. I have 8 females and 1 male in my 55g QT right now, and they couldn't appear happier. I'm syphoning, skimming and doing water changes to keep up with their waste production, but they are doing great. Can't wait to move them over to the 250.
