Simple Live Rock Question...
Does live rock need light to host benefical bacteria? If i put live rock in my sump where there is no light will it still serve its purpose?

No live rock does not need light to host bacteria.
Yes you can put it in your sump with no light and it will serve it's purpose.

correct jvonthum, mine also grows coralline in low ligh areas. bacteria lives in the rock as well as on it. REEF-ON!!!
