Purchasing a Tek5 light system for my 60" long 100gal.

Planning to order the Tek light today so I need as much info by the end of the day. Just ordered my power heads, salt . Already got my live sand waiting, Ok guys, not wanting to create a T-5 vs. MH issue here. I have made my decision on going with TEK5 8 bulb config.

My question is what bulbs options should I go with. I do plan to have Shrooms, soft corals and maybe with money in the future and more devotion I will try SPS.

I don't want my tank to look pink, yellow or too blue. I want it to look as natural as possible and allow me to do a natural day/night look.

Planning to order from Reefgeek today but if someone can hookme up with another place that sells TEK T-5 systems for cheaper and good customer service then hey....

thanks,
Charles-

I would use 4 or 5 aqua blue+ and then 3 or 4 UV Lighting Super Actinic.

The AB+ are 11k, 5 of them and 3 of the Super Actinic would be mostly white with a hint of blue/purple.

I run 3 AB+ and 3 SA and it is slightly blue/purple.

8 bulbs might be too strong for mushrooms & softies, they may melt, burn up or get bleached. you may just want to use 4 bulbs out of the 8 for starters and when you get to SPS then up the bulbs to 8 and make sure you hide the mushrooms & softies in the shade within your tank. JMO & HTH

I would go with 2 Blue+, 1 AquaBlue, & 1 UVL SA or 2 Blue+, 1 AquaBlue, & 1 GE Sun.
