Anyway to slow down coraline algea?

I know coraline algea is a good thing, but i find myself scraping my frong glass panel every 2 weeks, after 2 weeks, it starts looking messy and just kinda like i dont take care of it, i mag-float it at least once a day, but that won't even touch the coraline, is there something i can get that maybe attaches to the mag-float or something like it to scrape it off.
