Yellow Clown Goby into Oblivion
I bought a Yellow Clown Goby and a True Percula at the same time. The clown is doing fine, but I haven't seen the Goby ever since (I acclimated them both very slowly and carefully). It's probably been about a week since I introduced the two. The other inhabitants include a Banggai Cardinal, Lemon Damsel, Coral Banded Shrimp, and the Clownfish. What are the chances that he's alive, and if he's not alive what killed him and where are his remains?

Banded Coral Shrimp when large enough are known to dine on clown gobies.

It sounds like you have a big tank, clown gobies dont do well in big tanks because other fish will pick on him and he will get lost in the rockwork. I have lost fish before without finding them, they could be jammed between rocks or in the back of your tank. Just keep looking around the back and front, sides of the tank looking for it.

My yellow clown goby was eaten by a big mushroom coral. Perched on it one too many times.

What's considered too big for a Clown Goby? Mine's only a 24, but it does have a lot of rockwork.
