i would try and answer this quest, but in all honesty- i cannot understand it at all, i know you probably not from the states, but that is pretty bad, you really need to try and clear that up a little bit to get a straight forward answer.

Sorry, Mike

Shouldn't the shark open it himself when he's ready?

I think if it doesn't come out on its own its chances for survival are pretty low. Maybe someone on here knows how long these things take to hatch. I thought it was months.

It should come out on its own, and start looking for food immediately.

If not, its pretty much dead in the wild, but this is captive Try feeding it if it ever does show itself.

The baby shark will usually be almost twice the size of the egg when it hatches, and the stripes will be fully developed. I believe the gestation period on the eggs is something like 3-4 months???Don't mess with it...it will come out on its own.

I had one once and I believe that it took 3 months or so. Half the fun is watching it grow. Leave it or it alone will be weak and die.

Mine lived for a year, it was about two years into the hobby but did fine. I had a friend watch my tank while I was on vacation and when I came back. Well he liked to watch him eat and feed several times a day. But thanks for the advice.

You can easily keep a freshly hatched banded cat shark in a 55g tank for 9 months to a year.

Considering WaterMelon's previous posts of very articulate English, I'm thinking this is a joke or he was recently dropped on his head. Funny though...

If it is still moving it will come out. If I remember correctly my egg was split on one side but the shark didn't come out for a few days and when it did it was after the lights went off.
