Removing scratches on acrylic under water

I just wanted to see how many of you have successfully removed scratches in an acrylic tank under water.
How much of the scratch were you able to remove, and what method worked best for you.
I have a few scratches on the front wall of my tank and they become more noticable when algae forms. I hate them!
Any tips will be appreciated.

Fanx!

I've done it with good results. Get micro-mesh sandpaper. If you do a search you should find some threads that go into detail.
