Caulastrea
I have a 45 gallon tank and have had it for over a year now. It has done great but recently my Caulastrea have started falling off of the stalks - does anyone know what would be going on? I haven't moved it or changed anything - Temp and water levels are the same that they've always been - I've had these now for probably 10 months and they have always done really good. ?????

I have one of those Aqua Lunar Lights - does that sound right? 192 watts - set on a timer to come on at 9:00 in the morning and go off at 9:00 at night.

water parameters are fine - nitrate has been up just a little bit but I've been doing water changes a little more frequently to get them down - all other water parameters have stayed the same and ok. I know - I have no idea what is wrong with these things - they were so pretty. Will they die now that they are off? Because they keep opening up on the sand when the lights come on.?????

Trachyphyllia= type of brain coral. Daisy coral eh Like goniapora? If you have that in the tank and its living god knows whats happening to the trumpets. How long you had the goni?

I've had the daisy polyps longer than the trumpets - maybe 1 month longer - the daisy polyps are doing great - starting to spread to my other rocks - I know it doesn't make any sense.
