I feed DTs to my tank 1-2 times per week and mine have been fine for years.

I will be getting some featherdusters next wee, so I want to learn more about their care too.

Will they eat Red Calanus Plankton?

Do we spot feed them? Everywhen?

Flow area?

Light area?

i just learned a lot last week and got a couple of them in my tank. i learned you don't have to spot feed them just pour it in and they should get it. i feed mine every other day. not to high of flow. oh ya stomp next to your tank it's so funny when they go into their hole. mine i just put it in the sand and it's making a "shell like structure in the sand and moved closer to my rock. i have 2 in my one tank near the entrance way of my home when i open the door they hide. it's cute but funny.

I just put the DTs in the tank with them. They are in a lower flow portion of the tank. And moved around slightly over time, but not much. Light doesn't matter. I keep mine towards the bottom of my tank. Here's a picture:

you can feed them or not they are filter feeders and will get food from when you feed the rest of the tank. Also they don't need any light to survive they cabn live in darkness. Put the feathers where you like them and make sure the current is a little lower.

Good Luck
