Im ready for corals but need advice..
I think im ready for a beginner coral but I also have a 4 inch picasso trigger.. So what is a nice coral hard or soft that will have a chance with this fish..My water is very good ro/di and all the other test are perfect. 2 - 96 watt pc lights one blue and one day light. 65 css skimmer in a 60 gal tank...I would like something that may grow fast and have color.

try a zoanthid...thye are supposed to be very hardy and a good beginner coral. They come in TONS of different colors and are really pretty IMO. Or Maybe mushooms?

Well...Im not sure how they would do with the Trigger....might wanna look that up. LOL

I think you'll want to avoid hard corals due to your lighting. Also, I think that triggers are not considered "reef safe", so you may have problems with even soft corals getting picked on by the trigger. When that happens, the corals won't open up & will eventually die. But, you should be able to find either zoas or mushrooms for not too much, so I guess you can give it a try.

Ok I looked it up and everything I read said they were not recommended for a reef tank...

Man I want corals and I was thinking of setting up a nano tank just to try some but that may be a waste of money for me..I guess I can set up a trade for Mr Picasso which I kinda feel bad about but he does **** me off when he puts sand all over my rocks. lol
