as the title states, i have the option of MH or T-5 over a 125g. i will be kepping LPS, SPS, and clams. i can either do a 3x175watt MH lights with 2x110watt 48" actinic VHO's or, i can do 5x 80 watt T-5 lights run on an icecap ballast and individual reflectors(the t-5 would be from reefgeek)
which would b better in your opinion.

you can keep SPS under both. I think that right now it's going to come down to how much you want to mess with the light setup. MH is far more esstablished and proven under many different methods. T-5's have proven that they can keep SPS, but there are still lots of question on the best way to use them and what light spectrums to use to get the right colors.
