Simulating a current
Yo Dudes!
I was just after a bit of advice. I have 3 decent powerheads to create a current in my tank. I was just wondering if these plug board "wave makers" were all they are cracked up to be. I am tempted on getting one but was after some top quality advice from you guys first. Also there is one a big more pricy called the Aquasurge Wavemaker. Do any of you have this piece of equipment?? All alternate ideas will be useful aswell! Cheers

I currently use one with 2 Maxi Jet 900's and it does an excellent job. I guess it depends on how large your tank is. I do know that the seios and other more powerful powerheads don't always restart making them incompatible with this method.

I use one, but I have seen others that had problems with them, for the money, i would go with the red sea wavemaker FWIW
