Replacement pump/impeller for DAS BX1
I have an older DAS BX1 in-sump skimmer that ate its impeller (wobbled it out). DAS is extremely difficult to deal with...so it sits gathering dust...I'd really like to put it back to work. Its a great skimmer.
Anyone have an idea what I might use as a replacement pump/impeller? The original pump (looks like a rebrand) was a moderate sized Eheim (probably in the 900 gph range). Thanks |

The modern pump for that skimmer is most likely an aquabee. You can get one from Doug at Deltec or Brian at Finsreef. I must warn you the pump is very costly...

yeah, the DAS skimmers are the same as Deltec turbo's. They licensed a copy of them awhile back or something along those lines anyways... |
