protein skimmer?

hi

need to replace skimmer seting up tank and ordered a seaclone skimmer before i was told how bad they where.
have sump with bulkheads for external skimmer system has seaclone skimmer need to find out what skimmer would be better for my system 60gal reef .

what type and what brand ?

ASM are cheaper version of euro reefs they almost identical use the same needle whell sedra pumps. The diffrence is the material used to fabricate skimmer.

Have a look at Reef Octopus - there's a lot of interest in them at the moment (It's a shame they don't sell them here in the UK).
